Faithful readers

Warms my heart to see all these people reading the Tracy Press this morning. Marvin Rothchild, who used to teach at Tracy High School, reads every weekday morning to residents of Tracy Convalescent Hospital. I think it's time to get a computer in there so Marvin can read the TP Web site on the days we don't publish. Photo by Glenn Moore

Actually, they are trying to figure out a way to connect their computer to a television so everyone can see the screen. Can anyone help them do that?

The computer they have in there will not easily or simply connect to the TV they have in there. They need a video card in the computer which has TV OUT. Then they need a TV with a matching input, so old TV's don't work. Best if it is a S-video or composite input for the TV. Google will give lots of info. http://sewelldirect.com/connecting-your-pc-to-your-tv.aspx?&

I bet Marvin and his friends would like to know why Tolbert stepped down from the Dais on Tuesday night during the Tracy Hills item without explanation (you know conflict of interest, etc) And Ives allowed it saying, "that's your perogative"? Your readers want to know why she did that since she wants to be Mayor.
